Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to tailor personalized treatment plans that consider each client’s unique challenges.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and others—ensuring that each intervention is suitable for the client’s specific needs and goals.

• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, demonstrating your commitment to professionalism and ethical care delivery.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care for all clients.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously improve the quality of care delivered, sharing insights and strategies that enhance the therapeutic experience.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Stay current with developments in the mental health field through ongoing education, research, and professional development opportunities, integrating new knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral issues. The role is designed for those who are empathetic, patient-centered, and skilled at building rapport to support a wide spectrum of clients in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York state.

• Demonstrable expertise in implementing solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, adapting care strategies to fit the individual needs of clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain therapeutic alliances with clients.

Preferred Experience\n
