About the Role

As a Residential HVAC Outside Sales Representative, you will meet homeowners in their homes to understand their comfort needs, identify solutions, and recommend HVAC systems that best fit their home and budget.

You will receive qualified leads generated through our corporate marketing efforts, while also having the opportunity to grow your pipeline through follow-up, referrals, and personal prospecting.

You'll present solutions including:

• Air conditioning systems

• Gas furnaces

• Heat pumps

• Mini-split systems

• Other residential HVAC products and solutions

This is a consultative sales position. The goal is to provide homeowners with honest recommendations, exceptional service, and the right solution for their home.

HVAC Experience

HVAC industry experience is preferred but not required.

We provide product training to help you develop the technical knowledge needed to succeed. Experienced residential HVAC service technicians who are interested in transitioning into a sales career are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with qualified leads provided by our marketing team

• Build rapport with homeowners and identify their comfort needs

• Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions

• Present options for air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, and other residential HVAC systems

• Prepare and present proposals to homeowners

• Follow up with customers and maintain an active sales pipeline

• Prospect for additional opportunities through referrals, repeat customers, and personal outreach

• Consistently achieve individual sales and revenue goals

• Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process

• Maintain accurate customer and sales information

• Participate in ongoing product, sales, and technical training

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record

• 3+ years of professional experience with strong customer service and/or sales experience preferred

• Residential HVAC service or installation experience is a plus

• Previous in-home sales experience is preferred, but not required

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to build trust and establish relationships quickly

• Highly motivated and driven to achieve results
