Onsite Service Engineer, Proton Solutions - Oslo, Norway

The Role This is a unique opportunity for Onsite Service Engineer to join our established Proton Therapy (PT) Service Team, onsite at Oslo University Hospital – Radiumhospitalet. This is a replacement role within our established PT Team. You will help support the smooth operation of the Proton Therapy System, an advanced form of cancer treatment technology that uses a particle accelerator to precisely target tumours while protecting healthy tissue. Flexibility with shift working hours is required to ensure availability of proton therapy equipment during clinical hours within a collaborative onsite team. Your Role Support and maintain high‑tech medical equipment in a live clinical environment. Performing preventative maintenance and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Work hands‑on with mechanical , electronic, and electro‑mechanical systems. Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and help keep equipment running during clinical hours. Your Experience Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Technician qualification. Mechanical skills (e.g. vacuum pumps or electric motors). Knowledge of electronic/electro‑mechanical equipment preferable. Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken) essential; fluency in a Scandinavian language is a plus. What we can offer Full technical training provided.
