Description - Your Role

• Conduct both standard and sophisticated clinical lab tests-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other essential analyses-following established guidelines.
• Interpret results, verify accuracy, address errors, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new colleagues, and help sustain our lab's high-quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work area while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Active certification must be maintained during your tenure with us.
