CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our day shift team (6:30am-3:00pm) in making precision products that go fast! The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for running and inspecting automotive cams, gears, and associated parts to ensure accurate, efficient, and high quality production. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precise measurement skills, and the ability to interpret technical documentation. The CNC Operator plays a key role in executing production runs, identifying machining issues and communicating with technicians or supervisors for resolution, and supporting continuous improvement across the machining department. CNC Machine Operator Duties: Run CNC gear, shape, lathe, and mill for new and repeat production jobs Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to verify part requirements and ensure conformance Load, monitor, and replace cutting tools and inserts per established procedures Inspect tooling for wear and notify setup technicians of issues Assist with first article inspections and perform in-process inspections per documentation Collaborate with setup technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve nonconformances and support root cause analysis Maintain accurate inspection sheets, tool lists, and job documentation to support repeatability and traceability Load and unload parts and materials during production cycles Monitor machine operation and alert appropriate personnel to abnormalities or alarms Follow standardized work instructions and setup sheets provided by setup technicians Promote a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company safety standards and proper machine operation protocols ________________________________________ Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in CNC machining, advanced manufacturing, or a related field preferred 1–3 years of CNC machining, or related manufacturing experience preferred Proficiency with precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and thread gauges Ability to read and interpret machining blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T Strong mechanical reasoning, spatial awareness, and understanding of cutting tools and machining processes Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems preferred ________________________________________ Key Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problem solving abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization Ability to work independently Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr Andrews Products Acquisition
