Territory Manager

This is a Territory Manager role as an individual contributor with a elevated title, "Business Development Director" – Western Region / Territory Location: WA, OR, ID, MT, CA, NV, AZ, AK,HI Don't be too concerned about the 9 states of coverage. Much can be accomplished today via video call, email, etc. Position Summary The company is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives across the Western United States. This role is responsible for expanding the company's market presence, building and strengthening key customer and partner relationships, and driving revenue growth across laboratories, DSOs, clinicians, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the dental industry (ideally dental implants and related), strong consultative selling skills, and a proven ability to develop long-term, value-driven partnerships. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Market Development Develop and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with the company's Dental Group’s national growth objectives. Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across dental laboratories, DSOs, and clinicians. Expand market penetration and brand presence throughout the Northeast territory. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, senior-level relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer workflows, challenges, and business objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and long-term account success. Drive new revenue through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Lead complex, consultative sales cycles including negotiations, proposals, and contract development. Achieve or exceed assigned revenue, margin, and growth targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Technical teams to align solutions with customer needs. Provide market feedback to inform product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives. Industry Representation Represent the company's Dental Group at regional and national trade shows, customer events, and industry meetings. Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies impacting dental manufacturing and digital workflows. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of progressive business development or sales leadership experience within the dental industry. Strong understanding of dental laboratories, restorative workflows, components, and digital dentistry. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex, high-value deals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel extensively within the Western region (50–70%). Experience working with dental components, implants, CAD/CAM, or digital scanning solutions. Existing network of dental labs, DSOs, and key opinion leaders in the Western US- preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
