Our products are trusted by contractors, distributors, developers, architects, and engineers worldwide. About the Role Southern California is a key growth market for S-5!. The Territory Sales Manager will own the region's sales strategy, expand contractor and distributor relationships, develop new business, and drive adoption of S-5! solutions across solar and roofing markets. This is a field-based role for an experienced professional who can work independently and deliver measurable territory growth. Key Responsibilities Own the territory. Develop and execute a focused business plan that drives profitable growth, market share, and account penetration. Develop and expand business. Win new opportunities and grow existing relationships with contractors, distributors, EPCs, installers, developers, architects, and engineers. Manage projects and pipeline. Qualify and advance opportunities from early engagement and specification through purchase and installation; maintain accurate CRM and forecast data. Build technical credibility. Provide product education, presentations, training, and jobsite support across solar, metal roofing, and single-ply applications. Represent the market. Monitor competitors, pricing, customer needs, and industry trends; share actionable field intelligence and represent S-5! at key events. Collaborate across S-5!. Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and leadership to improve customer outcomes and accelerate growth. Qualifications 5+ years of successful outside sales experience in commercial roofing, rooftop solar, building products, construction products, or a related industry. Rooftop solar sales experience required; metal and single-ply roofing experience strongly preferred. Established relationships within the Southern California roofing, solar, construction, or distribution markets. Proven ability to grow accounts, develop new business, and meet or exceed sales goals. Commercial and technical confidence with contractors, business owners, architects, engineers, and other decision-makers. Strong territory planning, presentation, negotiation, closing, and CRM skills. Must reside in Southern California with the ability to travel approximately 50-75% or more. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industry and sales experience.
