Senior Internal Auditor

About the Role We're looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a growing company and execute audit and advisory projects that help strengthen controls, improve processes, and drive operational excellence. This role offers exposure to financial, operational, compliance, and strategic initiatives, including M&A activities, business process reviews, and risk assessments. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute internal audit and advisory engagements from planning through reporting. Perform risk assessments, process reviews, and internal control evaluations. Assess finance and business processes impacted by system implementations and IT control changes. Partner with management to identify control gaps, process deficiencies, and remediation plans. Research accounting, audit, and internal control matters and recommend practical solutions. Prepare audit reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Support strategic initiatives including controllership reviews, M&A due diligence, business integration, and operational excellence projects. Build strong relationships with leaders and business partners across the organization. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. 2+ years of audit experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. Preferred 3+ years of Internal Audit experience. CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar professional certification. Public Accounting experience. Experience with audit management platforms and internal control frameworks. Strong report writing and stakeholder communication skills.
