This contract role offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of 35-45 students, focusing on nurturing communication skills and fostering academic growth. You'll work regular full-time hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, allowing for balanced days and consistent routines throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of Maryland
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of elementary-aged students effectively
• Strong organizational skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Comfort with technology for sessions, documentation, and virtual interviews

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
• Implement direct and consultative speech therapy services in compliance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and caregivers to support student success
• Offer timely progress updates and recommendations as part of the wider school team
• Attend professional meetings and participate in parent conferences as needed
