Job DetailsJob Location: Milford - Milford, CT 06461Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 SalaryThe ideal candidate will provide direct support, supervision, and coordination to the warehouse & moving crews to ensure the overall success of the operation. This position is based out of Milford, CT. Responsibilities Manage warehouse and moving crews by training, setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, development and progressive discipline Manage and control condition and security of inventory including proper storage, handling, disposal, transfer, cleaning and repair Inspects physical condition of warehouse and inventory Manage warehouse organization and special projects Manage productivity and performance of each team member Ensure cleanliness, maintenance and security of the warehouse Ensure that safety standards are adhered to in all areas of the warehouse Provide necessary training on basic furniture handling, furniture repair, installation procedures and safety (OSHA, DOT, and safety meetings) Schedules jobs with sales and clients Work with the Director of Operations to control labor, inventory, and supply costs Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by following company policies and procedures; enforce adherence to requirements by reporting as appropriate; advising management on needed actions Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training as required Provide consistent top-level customer service Exemplify the Company values.
