We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Specialist to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The Contract Specialist will support the development, review, negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts and agreements. This role will work closely with procurement, legal, finance, operations, and business teams to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and administer contracts, agreements, amendments, statements of work, and related documentation.

Manage contract activities throughout the full lifecycle, from initial request and negotiation through execution, renewal, modification, and closeout.

Review contract terms, pricing, deliverables, milestones, service requirements, and performance obligations.

Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.

Support negotiations with vendors, suppliers, clients, contractors, and service providers.

Monitor contract deadlines, renewal dates, deliverables, obligations, and compliance requirements.

Maintain accurate and organized contract records, documentation, correspondence, and approval information.

Identify contractual risks, inconsistencies, and compliance concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.

Prepare contract summaries, reports, status updates, and management documentation.

Track contract performance, spending, changes, commitments, and deliverables.

Assist with requests for proposals, bids, vendor agreements, purchase agreements, and other procurement-related documents.

Coordinate contract approvals and ensure required signatures and supporting documentation are completed.

Support contract modifications, extensions, renewals, and termination activities.

Communicate contractual requirements and obligations clearly to internal teams and external partners.

Ensure contracts are processed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Support audits, compliance reviews, and contract-related inquiries.

Identify opportunities to improve contract administration processes, controls, documentation, and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, purchasing, or a related field.

Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and commercial agreements.

Experience reviewing contracts, statements of work, pricing schedules, vendor agreements, and service arrangements.

Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential contractual and financial information.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Experience with contract management systems, ERP platforms, or procurement software is preferred.

Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.

Ability to interpret contractual requirements and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.

Knowledge of procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and contract compliance practices is a plus.

Contract management certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, or similar are preferred but not required.

Compensation & Contract Benefits

Annual Contract Rate: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibility.

Schedule: Full-time contract, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Contract Duration: Initial contract assignment with potential for extension or renewal based on business needs and performance.
