Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination. Summary United Integrated Services (USA) is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, tracking, troubleshooting, maintaining QA/QC, repairing, and inspecting electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient construction operation. You will support all areas of electrical needs. ** This is a full-time onsite position located in North Phoenix, AZ (85027). ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform hands-on cabling, termination and QA/QC work on electrical systems. Weekly and monthly reports of electrical system inspection and maintenance as directed by supervisor. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify and address potential/ existing issues. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted facility construction and operations. Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, or equipment. Install and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances as needed. Collaborate with the Engineers team and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes. Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair activities. Review progress reports, materials used and costs, contract payment application, and adjust work schedules as indicated by the reports. Review & reply RFI (Request for information) and change orders. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use and client communication. Provide technical guidance and support to other facility maintenance staff as needed. Respond to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary repairs promptly. Stay up to date with advancements in electrical technology and best practices. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience High school diploma/GED or above. 4-5+ years of experience as an electrician, or similar role. OSHA 10 certificate required. Completed apprenticeship program or relevant certification in electrical work, a plus. Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and components. In-depth knowledge of local and national electrical codes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Ability to use engineering software such as AutoCAD. Excellent organizational and time management skills. High level of attention to detail, and highly organized. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees. Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude. Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Nice to have NFPA 70E Trained. OSHA 30 certificate. CPR/First-Aid certification. Verbal communication skills in Mandarin or Spanish. Additional Requirements Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions. Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or active job sites, depending on project requirements. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vests.
