This Medical Technician role is based at a 383-bed acute care facility in Bradenton, FL — a nine-time "100 Top Hospital" and "100 Top Cardiovascular Hospital" honoree located near the Gulf Coast. The role. Working under the direction of a laboratory supervisor, manager, or director, the Medical Technician performs both stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology. The position requires applying theoretical concepts of laboratory medicine with independent judgment to ensure timely, accurate results. The technician also handles non-technical responsibilities such as specimen collection, processing, and referral testing, and must be comfortable working independently and covering all areas of the lab. What we're looking for.
