As the Head Chef at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you'll craft exquisite menu items with precision and flair, all while upholding the high standards of the Executive Chef in menu production, kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and advance preparation. Tucked within historic Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Lodge at the Grand Geneva Resort, is the only all-season, all-suite, destination of its kind in the Midwest. Featuring 50,000 square feet of year-round, indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement, Timber Ridge Lodge is a family bonding adventure that's soaked in memories. What will you be doing?

• Execute menu production by accurately following recipes and cooking methods.
• Memorize and apply food presentation standards and production specifications.
• Prepare and cook dishes to meet guest specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Properly label, date, and store all ingredients and prepared food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, meeting health and chef standards.
• Monitor business volume and adjust station setup to meet demands efficiently.
• Communicate needs, deficiencies, and changes to the executive chef or supervisor promptly.
• Support team members with workload management and assist as needed.
• Ensure proper portion sizes and prevent product spoilage.
• Close kitchen shifts following established procedures and assist in preparing staff meals.
• Prepare portions of Staff Meal for Employee Cafeteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

• Experienced line cook with basic knife skills and strong multitasking abilities.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a positive attitude.
• Effective communicator with culinary team, supervisors, stewarding, and service staff.
• Team player willing to accept direction from chefs and management.
• Proficient in reading client orders and special requests from Micros printer in English.
• Knowledgeable in kitchen equipment and food products used daily.
• Willing to work all stations and shifts, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintains professionalism and a positive demeanor, prioritizing client satisfaction.
