Field Sales Manager, Northeast, Google Public Sector

Manage a team of Field Sales Representatives distributed across the Southeast.Create GTM approach across New York State, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont in partnership with Sales and Engineering.Align business and political needs across the region to drive sales programs to include GCP, Workspace, Cyber Security and other complimentary cloud solutions.Engage with Political Advocates/Consultants across the business to support sales alignment.Align with shared service resources across SLED to ensure collaborative efforts across tactical pursuits.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience with quota-carrying sales or account management.Leadership experience (e.g., people management, team lead, mentorship, coaching).Experience working with the public sector market across the Northeast Region.Preferred qualifications:Experience selling, or managing a team selling, Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software across multiple industries and accounts, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.Experience working with, and managing, cross-functional internal teams (e.g., Business Development, Customer Engineers, Partner Sales) and external partners to co-sell and win together at scale.Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.This team is responsible for supporting cloud opportunities across State, Local and Education customers in the Eastern US. In this role, you will manage a distributed team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) across the US Northeast. You will be responsible for creating and executing the regional Go-to-Market (GTM) approach in collaboration with Sales and Engineering.
