Operations Manager

Position Overview We are seeking a hands‑on Branch Operations Manager to lead our Marlboro, NY location. This role is responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, including service and parts activities, while driving customer satisfaction, team performance, operational efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys working directly with employees and customers, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and has experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, dealership operations, or a related industry. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily branch operations with a focus on service and parts performance. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to branch employees. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional customer service. Monitor workflow, equipment repairs, and job progress to ensure timely completion. Partner with service, parts, rental, and sales teams to support branch growth and profitability. Review estimates, repair orders, invoicing, and warranty processes for accuracy and efficiency. Drive operational improvements, productivity, and financial performance. Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Support employee development, training, hiring, and performance management initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment service, construction equipment dealership operations, or a related field. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Understanding of service operations, parts operations, and business performance metrics. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software.
