Space Management And Administrative Services Advisor

Selectee(s) will report to an assigned DOL office location on a regular basis and may be eligible for telework as determined by agency policy. This is not a remote position. Offices are located in Boston, MA; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; and San Francisco, CA. Advertised salary reflects the pay range for the above locations. Upon selection, salary will be set in accordance with the selectee's assigned duty location. This position is located within the OASAM, OFO, Division of Space and Facilities and provides space management and administrative services advice to DOL customer agencies and employees outside of the National Capital Region. Major duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Plan, manage, and oversee complex space and facility projects to ensure timely completion and compliance with customer requirements, federal regulations, and project objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the General Services Administration (GSA), customer agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate space planning, construction, renovations, and relocations.
• Develop space layouts, workplace designs, and project documentation while ensuring compliance with federal space standards, accessibility requirements, and building codes.
• Manage furniture, telecommunications, security, and facility improvement projects to support agency operations and workplace modernization.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs), Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWAs), procurement documents, cost estimates, and project schedules for facility and space initiatives.
• Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, resolve project issues, and ensure contractor performance meets quality and contractual requirements.
• Advise management on space management policies, facility planning, workplace design, and regulatory requirements while recommending effective space solutions.
• Conduct strategic space planning and utilization analyses to optimize space, improve operational efficiency, and support future organizational needs.
• Perform cost analyses, develop funding estimates, and recommend cost-effective solutions for space, construction, and facility projects.
• Maintain space management records, prepare reports and briefings, and represent the Department in meetings and negotiations with GSA, customer agencies, and other stakeholders.
