Associate Attorney

Workers’ Compensation Attorney McDaniel Law Services, LLC, is seeking an Attorney to join its Workers’ Compensation Defense practice. The position offers the opportunity to build substantive experience, work directly with clients, and become an integral member of the Firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice. Candidates must be licensed to practice law immediately in Ohio. The Attorney will handle a variety of litigation matters and administrative proceedings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing an assigned caseload; representing clients in matters before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and courts; preparing for and attending administrative hearings and court proceedings; conducting legal research; preparing litigation plans and budgets; drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents; reviewing medical records and claim files; communicating directly with clients; and assisting with all aspects of case strategy and preparation. McDaniel Law is a women-owned law firm providing advisory, litigation and consultation services to Ohio Employers in workers’ compensation matters. Qualifications Prior workers’ compensation experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant litigation, employment, insurance defense, or administrative hearing experience are encouraged to apply. Excellent analytical, writing, legal research, organizational, and communication skills are required Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing responsive, high-quality client service Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team J.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Ohio and in good standing Wage Transparency In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current scale range for this position is $102,000 - $127,500 annually based on a 1,700 billable hour requirement. Placement in the range will be determined based on factors such as internal equity, market data, and the candidate’s experience and skills.
