This position will be onsite in Sherman Oaks 4-5 days/week. Only Southern CA based candidates will be considered.

The Role

Your camera roll is 80% swatches. You already know this about yourself. This is the seat for the person who films a first impression before she films anything else. Who has a take on every cream blush that dropped this year. Who can look at a lip liner and call the viral moment three weeks early. You make the raw stuff. The 7am get-ready-with-me in your actual bathroom light. The unfiltered reaction to a shade that just hit your desk. The hand swatch that sends the comments straight to "shade name?? Content that looks like a Cutie made it — because one did. This is not a studio job. No lighting kits, no call sheets, no three-week timelines. You shoot on your phone, you cut on your phone, and it goes live across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and everywhere else we show up. Native everywhere, polished nowhere. Color cosmetics is the obsession we're hiring for. Not beauty broadly — makeup specifically. Pigment, payoff, formula, finish. If that's what you'd be talking about anyway, keep reading.

What You'll Do

• Make it, daily. Shoot, edit and deliver a steady drumbeat of UGC-style content — GRWMs, swatch videos, first impressions, tutorials, trend takes, unboxings, restock alerts, shade matching — on a cadence that keeps every channel fed.
• Look like a person, not a production. Your content reads as a real Colour Lover filming in real light. Handheld, unfiltered, fast. That's the bar, and it's harder than it sounds.
• Be on brand without being told. You've internalized the ColourPop voice so completely that nobody has to redline your caption. You know what's ours and what isn't.
• Move at 48 hours, not two weeks. A sound breaks Tuesday, we're in it Thursday. You spot it, you pitch it, you shoot it.
• Know the product cold. Every launch, every shade, every formula. You're the one who can explain why this liner grabs and that one glides.
• Build for every channel. What you make gets cut for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Pinterest. You shoot with that in mind from the first frame.
• Be on camera. A lot of this is you — your hands, your face, your voice, your point of view.
• Bring the receipts. Track what lands. Come to the weekly with a read on what worked, what flopped and what you want to try next.

What You Bring

• 3+ years creating social content for a brand, as a creator, or both. This is not an entry-level role and it is not a management role — it's a maker's seat, and you're here to make.
• A real makeup obsession. Color cosmetics specifically. You have a point of view on the category and you can name who's doing it well and why.
• A portfolio that proves it. Show us content you shot, starred in and edited yourself. Views are nice. Craft is better.
• Phone-first production fluency. CapCut, native editors, trending audio, and good instincts about hooks and pacing. You don't need a crew to make something worth watching.
• Comfort on camera. Confident, warm, watchable.
• A trend radar that runs hot. You're early, not on time.
• Speed as a skill. You've built it on purpose.
• Nice to have: an audience of your own, beauty retail or MUA experience, or fluency in Canva, Figma or Dash Social.
