Medical Receptionist – doctor’s office in McMurray is hiring for a receptionist position. Office hours are Monday and Thursday 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Tuesday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Wednesday and Friday 8:30 AM -1:30 PM. There is flexibility for part time. Also, there is opportunity for more responsibility. $18.00 per hour. Temp-to-Hire.
Responsibilities:
· Answer phone calls and check patients in.
· Schedule appointments
· Process authorizations and referrals with insurances
· Some medical coding.
· Execute forms and gather insurance information
· Collect payments and copays
· Will train on new application with insurance
Qualifications
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Experience with EMRs
· Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Adobe
