Position Summary Lead Physical Therapist Assistant – Full Time Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (Long-Term Care) Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to apply. Employment Type: Full-Time Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines. Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes. Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements. Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date. Act as a leader/mentor in your specific discipline. Assume job responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in their absence. Qualifications Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in your state of practice. Strong communication and organizational skills. New graduates welcome; mentorship available.
