Manufacturing Shop Assistant

This is a hands-on manufacturing role in an aerospace machine shop where you’ll gain exposure to production, machines, materials, and shop operations while building long-term skills in the industry.

No two days look exactly the same—you’ll support different areas of the shop, learn new tasks over time, and play an important role in keeping production moving.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support daily production and help keep jobs moving through the shop
• Load, unload, and transport materials and parts throughout the facility
• Operate production equipment after training and instruction
• Clean, deburr, inspect, label, and package finished components
• Assist with basic machine upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory organization
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment
• Jump in where needed to support multiple departments

What We’re Looking For:

• Manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, or shop experience helpful but not required
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction
• Dependable with a solid work ethic and good attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Team-oriented and willing to pitch in where needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Standing, walking, bending, and moving for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.)
