Our client is seeking an Employee Benefits / ERISA Attorney with 2-10 years of experience to join its established and growing practice. This is a unique succession‑planning opportunity offering direct mentorship, an established client base, and a long‑term path to practice leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise clients on ERISA compliance and fiduciary responsibilities Draft and amend ESOP, 401(k), and profit‑sharing plan documents Support plan design, implementation, and compliance matters Assist with plan corrections and regulatory compliance initiatives Participate in M&A due diligence related to employee benefit plans Develop long‑term client relationshipsQUALIFICATIONS
JD required with active Bar membership or ability to become licensed in Iowa 2-10 years of legal experience Interest in ERISA, employee benefits, or retirement plan work Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities Outgoing, relationship‑oriented personalityPREFERRED
