Position Overview

GP Advisory Analysts support senior advisors in providing strategic, financial, and capital solutions to general partners (GPs) across private equity, private credit, real assets, and other alternative investment strategies. The role blends financial analysis, strategic advisory, and project execution in a client-facing environment.

These roles often involve close collaboration with managing directors, private fund sponsors, legal advisors, and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

Support advisory engagements for GPs related to fundraising, fund structuring, and strategic transactions
Assist in the analysis of GP-led secondary transactions, continuation vehicles, and liquidity solutions
Build and analyze financial models related to fund economics, fee structures, and carry scenarios
Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and strategic advisory memoranda
Conduct market research and benchmarking of fund terms, performance, and peer positioning
Support due diligence processes and data room management for advisory transactions
Track project timelines, deliverables, and client communications
Analyze investor feedback and market dynamics to inform GP strategy recommendations
Assist in preparing internal updates and senior-level client materials

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
Strong interest in private markets, alternative investments, and advisory work
Understanding of private fund structures, GP economics, and investment vehicles
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM or data platforms is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven, client-focused environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with senior stakeholders
