Bezalel Rehabilitation is seeking a Full-time Recreation Aide to assist in conducting recreational programs that help meet the needs and interests of our residents.
Requirements:Prior experience as a Recreation Aide.
Must be highly organized and have the ability to lead others.
Strong computer skills are required.
Positive, outgoing, upbeat personality.
Must be self-directed with strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to multitask.
Experience with an EMR, strong computer skills, and the ability to operate Windows-based programs are required.
Experience with recreation documentation.
Experience documenting in a medical record is required.
Experience providing therapeutic recreation to geriatric residents.
General understanding of therapeutic recreation practices and procedures.
Transport ambulatory and wheelchair-bound residents to recreation programs.
Actively participate in the preparation, implementation, and cleanup of recreational programs.
Report to the Director of Therapeutic Recreation.
Musical experience preferred
