What You'll Do:

• Provide diagnostic assessments and prescribe pharmacological treatments for mental health conditions
• Develop and implement non-pharmacological therapies and care plans
• Synthesize patient data to inform clinical decisions and monitor outcomes
• Educate patients about medications, review lab results, and order necessary tests
• Document medical treatments, assessments, and patient progress accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
• Follow professional standards and organizational policies to maintain high-quality care

What You Need:

• Valid licensure as an RN and as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in Iowa
• Certification as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or other approved body
• Minimum of 3 years related clinical experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of mental health assessment, psychotropic medications, and managed care concepts
• Strong communication skills and professional manner
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus
