Legal Intern

Position: July-November Legal Internship (Unpaid)

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in personal injury law. This internship is ideal for students considering a career in law or related fields and who want to learn about litigation, pre-litigation, client advocacy, and the day-to-day operations of a personal injury law firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist case managers, supervisors, intake specialists, and attorneys with daily tasks

• Conduct legal research and draft or proofread documents, correspondence, and case summaries

• Support case preparation, including organizing discovery materials and reviewing records

• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or law school student (pre-law, political science, legal studies, or related field) preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic research tools

Location: Folsom, CA

Commitment

This internship term is from July-November. The schedule is flexible and may be arranged around the intern's availability. Intern office hours are Tuesday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, interns may work a mutually agreed-upon schedule within those times.

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be available depending on your school’s policies.
