Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through early June, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. You’ll partner with K-12 students at multiple schools, contributing to their academic and social success. The district is seeking professionals skilled in school-based speech therapy, open to both CCC and CFY qualifications.
Your expertise will make a lasting difference as you address a variety of speech and language needs. You’ll collaborate with educators and families, using your knowledge to guide interventions, evaluations, and individualized education plans. While caseload specifics will be provided by the district, a passion for helping students of all ages is essential.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist certification in Indiana (required)
- Experience with school-based therapy (preferred)
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Commitment to timely documentation and adherence to state and federal regulations
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, direct therapy, and consultation for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Attend meetings as needed (virtually or in person)
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in Zoom interviews and complete fingerprinting prior to the start date
