Job Description UW Medicine - Eastside Specialty Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. WORK SCHEDULE Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) Day Shift /Mondays- Fridays   DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION    UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center World-class services delivered by expert UW Medicine physicians and providers.  We’re located conveniently near you and in North Bellevue, with easy access to I-405 and 520.  We added more specialties for a growing Eastside community. Services available at the Eastside Specialty Center:  Allergy and immunology  Audiology  Dermatology  Ear, nose & throat care  General surgery  Hepatology (liver)  Otolaryngology [ENT] - head and neck surgery  Physical therapy  Radiology and imaging  Rheumatology (connective tissue disease)  Urogynecology  Urology POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Conveniently located near public transportation Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery Other duties as requested REQUIREMENTS High school graduation or equivalent AND One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE UW Medicine is Washington’s only health system that includes a top-rated medical school and an internationally recognized research center.
