Director, Patient Randomization Rate
$160k - $215kIterative Scopes
Iterative Health is a healthcare technology and services company powering the acceleration of clinical research to transform patient outcomes. We built a leading performance-driven network of 100+ sites across the US, Europe, India, and Australia, conducting research directly in the communities where care is delivered across gastrointestinal, hepatology, obesity, and cardiology. By combining deep clinical trial expertise with cutting-edge AI, we connect sponsors' scientific ambitions with high-performing research teams that expedite and expand access to novel therapeutics for patients in need. Today, Iterative Health is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City with 250+ employees world-wide.Patient enrollment is at the heart of successful clinical research, and improving how effectively patients move from identification to randomization is one of the most important opportunities across Iterative Health’s growing site network. As Director of Patient Randomization Rate at Iterative Health you’ll own the strategy and execution for improving enrollment performance across our network. You’ll use data to identify where patient volume, conversion, or operational processes are limiting performance, then design and test scalable solutions—from referral programs and community outreach to workflow improvements and external partnerships.Working closely with Site Operations, Product, and other cross-functional teams, you’ll identify what drives success at our highest-performing sites and translate those insights into scalable playbooks across the network. This is a senior role with meaningful ownership and direct accountability for one of the most critical drivers of our clinical research business.Where You’ll Drive Impact Analyze patient volume, conversion, and screen failure trends to identify where patients are falling out of the funnel and develop targeted interventions to improve randomization rates.Run experiments across the patient journey—including referrals, patient education, advocacy engagement, community outreach, and operational improvements—and scale successful approaches across the network.Establish benchmarks and targets for pre-screening, conversion, screen failure, and other key enrollment metrics by therapeutic area and protocol type to inform site- and portfolio-level planning.Partner with Site Operations to understand what differentiates high-performing sites and translate those practices into repeatable playbooks and workflows across the network.Help design operational workflows that improve how efficiently patients move through the funnel, reduce friction, and increase conversion.Partner with Product to identify, define, and prioritize opportunities where technology can improve conversion, streamline workflows, or accelerate enrollment performance.Monitor results against targets, surface risks early, and partner with Site Operations to develop improvement plans with clear ownership, timelines, and measures of success.Performs related duties as requested What You Bring to the Team 8+ years in strategy and operations in a life sciences or clinical research contextBackground in enrollment strategy, patient recruitment, clinical operations, with a track record of building programs that move patient volumeStrong analytical background, able to delve into data to monitor and identify areas for improvementHands-on experience designing and running patient recruitment programs in a clinical trial settingStrong operational instincts with the ability to take a strategy from concept to execution and drive pull-through at the site levelExperience working across functions to drive outcomes, influencing through credibility and relationships, not authorityClear, compelling communicator, able to build a persuasive case for a program, present performance to leadership, and work credibly with clinical and commercial stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience in GI, hepatology, MASH, or IBD therapeutic areasFamiliarity with both the site-level and sponsor-side dynamics of clinical trial enrollmentExperience running experiments, designing a test, measuring the result, and building from what worksHow We Work Collaborative and low-ego team environmentHigh ownership and accountability cultureFast-paced and highly iterative growth environmentOpen communication and continuous learning mindsetMission-driven organization focused on improving patient outcomesComfortable navigating evolving business priorities and opportunitiesBenefits That Support You We believe great teams do their best work when they feel supported — professionally and personally.Hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration two days per week in either our NYC or Boston officeComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with up to 80% of premiums covered by Iterative HealthMental health and wellness support through Spring HealthHealth HSA or FSA options, and commuter FSA contributions supported by Iterative HealthUnlimited PTO, 12 company holidays, and a company-wide shutdown between Christmas and New Years401(k) program with a company match of up to 3% (up to $3,000 annually)Weekly in-office lunch benefit every Tuesday100% company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverageAnnual wellness and professional development stipend to support your health and growthAnd more!New York pay range$160,000—$215,000 USDAt Iterative Health, we’re actively working towards creating an environment that is representative of the diversity of patients our technology serves.
