Role Description The Concierge is a full-time, on-site role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, responsible for providing front-facing support and hospitality services to residents, visitors, and families. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and directing guests, managing inquiries, coordinating tours and appointments, and supporting receptionist duties such as answering phone calls and handling messages. The Concierge helps organize transport and service requests, provides information about facility amenities and local resources, and ensures that residents needs are addressed promptly and courteously. This role collaborates closely with nursing, administration, and support staff to maintain a welcoming environment and clear communication. The position requires consistent presence on the resident units and common areas, maintaining a professional and calm demeanor in a busy healthcare setting. Qualifications Strong customer service and concierge services skills, with a focus on hospitality and resident satisfaction. Experience handling reservations and scheduling appointments, including coordination of transportation or external services. Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact with residents, families, and staff. Ability to remain organized, detail-oriented, and calm in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working in a healthcare or senior living setting; prior experience in these environments is a plus. Proficiency with basic office software and phone systems; ability to learn facility-specific systems. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in hospitality, healthcare administration, or customer service is beneficial.
