We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. This role requires proficiency in Foundations Accounting Software and a strong background in construction accounting. The Bookkeeper will report to the COO and CEO and play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by overseeing bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using double-entry bookkeeping practices with Foundations software
• Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure account accuracy
• Prepare and post journal entries reflecting business transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Prepare weekly financial statements and reports for management review
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during annual audits
• Support public accounting functions and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Work closely with the COO, CEO, outside CPA, and team members to maintain financial integrity

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Foundations Accounting Software or Sage 100 software is mandatory
• Experience with double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with management and external partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Foundations Accounting Software
• Construction accounting experience is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Audit collaboration experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
