Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care in an outpatient setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered services across a diverse population. The role emphasizes assessment, coordination, and implementation of personalized care plans to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans aligned with organizational standards.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to provider orders and policies.
  
  
• 
  Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions or escalation as needed.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on care procedures, medication management, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care coordination and follow-up services.
  
  
• 
  Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  
  
• 
  Maintain an active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska.
  
  
• 
  Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate clinical competency within 3 months and every 3 years, with high-risk competency validation annually.
  
  
• 
  Be proficient in nursing principles, evidence-based practices, and electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a dynamic clinical environment.
