Details Work in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting 15-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio Cares for cardiac and critical care patients including post-CABG, STEMI, and vascular cases Utilizes ventilators and vasoactive drips Uses Cerner EMR Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts Requires 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) within a 6-week schedule for a 13-week contract Float requirement to Medical ICU and Progressive Care Unit No on-call responsibilities Scrubs may be any solid color Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac/ICU experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Experience with open heart, balloon pump, and CRRT preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients including post-CABG, STEMI, and vascular cases Candidates with open heart, balloon pump, and CRRT experience will be given priority consideration Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Time off requests must be less than 1 week Not eligible for consideration if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years American Traveler Job ID P-742829.
