About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through a strategic evolution. The CEO will be responsible for translating the Board-approved strategy into measurable outcomes, strengthening governance alignment, and enhancing member value. This role requires a leader with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior executive position within a complex global organization, preferably with a focus on driving strategic growth and organizational impact. The successful candidate will be accountable for the association's operational and financial performance, including revenue growth, and will be expected to modernize the business model to ensure relevance and financial resilience. The ideal CEO for the company will have a strong background in financial and business management, experience in leading member-driven organizations, and a proven track record in improving global engagement. Key competencies include strategic and financial acumen, mission-driven advocacy, and the ability to lead through change with a focus on innovation and market leadership. The role also demands a leader who can build high-trust partnerships, engage with a global volunteer workforce, and represent the organization with authority across various stakeholders. A deep understanding of emergency care and health care systems is essential, as is the ability to influence policy and sector priorities. The CEO will be expected to champion a culture of accountability, member service excellence, and to ensure the organization's compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements.
