Position Snapshot

• Base Salary: $318,449$354,957
• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
• Retention Bonus: $30,000
• Schedule: Full-time, daytime inpatient coverage
• Call: 1:6 weekend rotation
• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Schedule & Coverage Model

• Inpatient-focused daytime schedule
• Call: 1:6 weekend rotation
• Shared coverage among providers

Predictable schedule within a structured inpatient program.

Practice Environment

• 30-bed adult inpatient psychiatry unit
• Coverage shared between 2 psychiatrists
• Specialized patient populations across: General Mental Health, MICA (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), Geriatric Psychiatry
• Multidisciplinary team including: Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, Case Managers, Counselors
• Strong collaboration with hospitalists and specialists

This is a stable, well-supported inpatient program serving a diverse adult population.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult patients
• Manage complex psychiatric and co-occurring conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care
• Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active New York license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA certification (prior to start)
• Clean malpractice and license history

Open to early-career and experienced physicians. Visa sponsorship is not available.
