Providing critical escalation support, the full-time Tier 2 IT Support Specialist will manage technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking for USDA employees, ensuring timely resolution both remotely and onsite. Key responsibilities Respond to escalated tickets and troubleshoot issues related to VPN connectivity, password resets, and desktop software Provide onsite and remote support for hardware/software issues, including installations and upgrades Assist with user account management and maintain inventory accuracy for hardware assets Required qualifications Strong technical skills in hardware/software troubleshooting Experience with VPN, networking, and operating system upgrades Proficiency in account management and software deployment Familiarity with telecommunications systems (VTC, VoIP, WITS) Knowledge of asset and configuration management practices
