Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for a respected mission-based organization. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, reconciliations, journal entries, vendor management, expense tracking, and audit support.

Responsibilities:
Process invoices, payments, and vendor transactions
Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable records
Record daily cash receipts and prepare deposits
Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
Reconcile corporate credit card and expense transactions
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
Support annual audit requests and reporting requirements
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Collaborate with internal departments regarding billing, payments, and financial transactions

Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of accounting experience with AP and AR responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Experience with Sage Intacct or ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
