Staffing Coordinator

Staffing CoordinatorAs a Staffing Coordinator you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients' homes are staffed with nurses and caregivers, according to the patients' approved hours and plan of care. This position involves identifying staffing needs, creating schedules that meet those needs, and partnering with human resources and case management to ensure vacancies are filled. May involve commuting locally for occasional home visits, as needed.Major ResponsibilitiesIdentify staffing needs and vacancies due to call outs Understand Plan of Care for new patientsAssist in communicating any changes in acuity or plan of care for existing patientsCreate a staffing plan and collaborate with other departments to fill staffing vacancies Utilize existing resources (1099 pool, PRN, differentials) to meet demandsEngage and collaborate with HR for onboarding new contractorsSchedule and conduct orientation training for new contractorsCreate schedules and send shift confirmationsTrack and audit schedules in collaboration with billing department to ensure caregiver is compliantAdhere to HIPAA, federal, and state guidelines regarding the protection of patient health informationParticipate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support coverage for critical systems and servicesCommunicate changes or needs in patient care with internal and external partnersJob QualificationsExperience with MS Office products (required)Healthcare staffing or scheduling coordination experience (preferred)Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices (preferred)Outstanding organizational skills: ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlinesKey competencies include communication (both written and verbal), critical thinking, problem-solving, detail oriented, organization, prioritization, adaptability, collaboration, and teamwork$23 - $27 an hourBenefits Include:$100 monthly cell phone reimbursementMonthly in-office lunch to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other eventsPTO, paid holidays, paid sick timeHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceHours typically from 8a-5pJob Type: Full-time401(k) + matching
