As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.72 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, perimeter areas, parking locations, and restricted-access points to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support adherence to site entry and exit procedures. Carry authorized equipment and perform assigned duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal policies. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid armed guard card or license. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
