Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

Schedule

This is a Nights position, with 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. You will work 36 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. At least one holiday is required during the contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool. The ideal candidate will be experienced in acute med surg/tele care and will float between various Med Surg Tele units as needed. Flexibility is essential according to the scheduling needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various Med Surg Tele units.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to other nursing units as required.

Required Experience and Certifications

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
