Bartender

Esther’s 2.0 is now hiring for a bartender!

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service while engaging with guests professionally.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and menu offerings.
• Create specialty drinks according to house recipes and presentation standards.
• Accurately handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout shifts.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing bar duties.
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations. 
• Upsell premium liquors, featured cocktails, bottles, and add-on experiences.
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and professionalism during high-volume service.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and TABC regulations.

Qualifications: 

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and bar operations.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude required.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
• Evening, weekend, and late-night availability preferred.
• TABC certification preferred or required.

Washington High School, the Studewood Cobras Little League Football Team, the GENTS Organization, Independence Heights Community Health Center, The Lady League & Gents, Inc. and many more. She also donates food to the homeless, groups and organizations for special events. Esther has received many awards from the community in honor of her charitable efforts and many editorial praises for her amazing food.
