Location: Fort Worth, TX Employment Type: Temporary, 12+ months (Evergreen) Industry: Aerospace and Defense Compensation: $19.35
Schedule: 4x10 Monday-Thursday About the Opportunity: We are seeking someone with experience providing top notch customer service, troubleshooting computer issues, and offering technical support. This role will be handling infrastructure support (touch labor support for network, telecom, print, server), computer break/fix, and troubleshooting in an in-person setting. • Performs identified Move/Add/Change activity to include all required network modifications.
  • Include moving/adding connection in network closet and terminating port connections at the end location (conference room, desk, office, etc.).
  • Basic network monitoring
  • Sets up and ensures operability of systems and hardware components prior to field deployment.
  • Analyzes failed equipment, performs standard repairs, and tests of components or equipment.
  • Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drop
  • Duties include installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing telephones.
  • Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops)
  • Assists with telecommunications equipment and telephone switching equipment related to processing and transmission

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 years of experience in technical experience consisting of operation systems such as Windows, Unix/Linux, or Apple.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in providing technical support in an in-person setting

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
