Job Description

Specific Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Business Development Strategy: Contribute to the development of a long-term sales growth strategy for the US market through research and analysis.
• Relationship Building: Support in building and nurturing strategic relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations to understand their priorities, objectives, and assess alignment with the company's products and technology capabilities.
• Forecasting and Supply Assurance: Assist in forecasting and ensuring supply assurance for the assigned region, collaborating with relevant teams.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information regarding the pipeline of customer projects and opportunities to ensure comprehensive support from all stakeholders.
• Sales Reporting: Support in the preparation of monthly sales reports and updated sales forecasts to provide direction for production planning.
• Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies to identify potential product improvements or new products.
• Strategic Planning Participation: Participate in the development and execution of the USA strategic plan alongside the management team.
• Financial Analysis Support: Provide support in conducting financial analysis to aid strategic planning and prioritize target projects effectively.
• Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop insights for growth opportunities among key tier 1 and tier 2 customers.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

Strong interest in Nutraceutical particularly in understanding ingredients and their applications. Familiarity with B2B ingredient sales.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of customer account management principles and a desire to develop these skills further.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing ideas and supporting team objectives.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
• 4 plus years' experience with Nutraceutical Ingredient Sales
