Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Rancho Park Veterinary Clinic

PetVet Care Centers' Rancho Park Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team. Location: Rancho Park Veterinary Clinic, Los Angeles, CA. Position Overview Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs administrative and customer service tasks supporting the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this role is similar to Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist. Key Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations. Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments. Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products. Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assists with retail sales, weighs pets, processes faxes, and maintains records. Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications Two or more years of experience in the veterinary field. Spanish speaker. Schedule Open availability, Monday - Saturday, 7:30 am - 5 pm. $18.42—$22.50 USD.
