Finance Administrator

Package: £15 per hour + excellent career & benefits Role: Finance Administrator, Clifton, Bristol (part-time & hybrid) Reactive Recruitment are working with a Bristol (Clifton) based accountancy practice who have been working with clients UK wide since 2013. Due to increased business, they seek a valuable member of their team to join as an Administrator & Client Workflow Coordinator on a part‑time basis. Finance Administrator package & hours: Working Monday to Friday 3 hours per day (15 hours per week) during office hours Parking permit available if required (although close to The Downs for a short walk/free parking) Pension & other excellent benefits/perks Great training and career potential with business growth Lovely location in Clifton, Bristol Core Responsibilities: Inbox Management Triage client emails, acknowledge receipt, assign to team members, chase responses, and maintain communication logs. Deadline Tracking Maintain a live deadline calendar; monitor Companies House, HMRC and internal systems; prompt team members ahead of deadlines. Workflow Scheduling Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the team has clarity on priorities. System Maintenance Update XPM, GoCardless, AML records, onboarding forms, client notes, and internal trackers. Client Liaison Act as the first point of contact for routine queries; maintain professional, timely communication. Document & Data Management Organise client documents, ensure correct filing, maintain Companies House and HMRC records. Daily Operational Checks Quick daily review of inbox, deadlines, team workload, and system updates. Attributes & Skills Needed: Proactive mindset — Spots issues before they become problems; chases rather than waits. Exceptional organisation — Able to manage multiple deadlines and keep systems tidy. Strong communication — Clear, professional, concise communication with clients and team. Consistency — Daily engagement is essential; reliability is more important than hours. Tech competence — Comfortable with Xero Practice Manager, HMRC portals, Companies House, and general cloud systems. Attention to detail — Ensures data accuracy and avoids errors in deadlines or client records. Calm under pressure — Able to manage workload peaks without losing control.
