Maintenance Technician II - 3rd Shift - Jackson, MS

Pay: $26-$28/hour + $1/hour Shift Differential $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

As a Maintenance Technician II you will serve as a critical technical resource responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, troubleshooting manufacturing systems, and supporting a safe and reliable production operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain extrusion and production equipment including extruders, corrugators, chillers, AC/DC drives, motors, and downstream manufacturing systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities while supporting equipment reliability and continuous production objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, improving safety, and increasing production efficiency.
• Utilize CMMS systems to complete preventive maintenance schedules, repair work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Partner with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to diagnose equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Vocational Training, or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience supporting manufacturing equipment, production systems, or processing facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting experience involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and industrial documentation.
• Nice to have: Experience with PLC troubleshooting, AC/DC drives, servo systems, extrusion equipment, plastics manufacturing, CMMS platforms, and industrial process controls.
