Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and welding requirements.
• Utilize SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) techniques to perform high-quality welds on various materials.
• Employ Flux-Cored Arc Welding methods to ensure strong and durable welds.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Familiarity with SMAW and Flux-Cored Arc Welding techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
