Job Description

The Medical Assistant will support the health system with rooming patients, checking vitals, updating health records, and cleaning patient rooms.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist in their preparation for examinations.

• Check and record vital signs.

• Update health records accurately.

• Clean and maintain patient rooms.

• Provide support to Registered Nurses during vaccination clinics.

Essential Skills

• Experience with medical assisting and patient care.

• Proficiency in using Epic systems.

• Phlebotomy skills.

• Experience working in ambulatory settings such as medical offices, outpatient clinics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MA certification or diploma.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association program.

• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and reliability.

• Customer service proficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Palo Alto, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
