Accounts Receivable Supervisor Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract/Temporary (3+ Months) Compensation: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in the Ann Arbor area to identify an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a contract opportunity expected to last at least three months. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to lead accounts receivable operations, support process improvements, and oversee a team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day accounts receivable activities and ensure timely collections.
- Lead, mentor, and support AR team members.
- Monitor customer account balances and aging reports.
- Review and approve cash applications, adjustments, and account reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues.
- Prepare AR-related reports and provide analysis to leadership.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Partner with accounting and finance teams to improve processes and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of accounts receivable experience with prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of AR processes, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
